Die Autorin eroertert in ihrer rein analytschen Untersuchung, die weder philoso-phischen noch politischen Charakter hat, dass eine Patientin die im Laufe der Analyse (in der eine homosexuelle Krise und eine Rueckkehr zur Mutter stattfìndet) schwanger wird, ihr Kind unbewust als Kind des Analytikers betrachtet und auf diese Weise ein acting out vollzieht, durch welchen sie sich ihrer Weiblichkeit versichert. Das in der Phantasie erzeugte Kind, ist der geraubte Penis des Erzeugers der Analysandin, welche sich dadurch mit maennlichen Qualitaeten, ihren Ehepartner aber mit muetterlichen und weiblichen ausstattet. Diese Erscheinung aeussert sich durch eine starke Gegenwehr in der Analyse oder in der Absicht sie abzubrechen, um so den Analytiker in einer ausseranalytischen Beziehung, zum geistigen Erzeuger zu machen. Das Kind jedoch, Frucht der Uebertragung und nicht eines moralischen Inzestes, bleibt von jeglicher uebertragenen Abneigung frei, wenn der Analytiker beweisen kann, dass der Wunsch nach einem Kind, nicht sein Wunsch war.

La Autora abre su investigación, de caràcter analitico y no filoso fico o politico, sobre el pleito de las mujeres, sosteniendo que cuando una paciente queda ambarazada durante el curso del anàlisis, realizando de hecho una crisis de homosexualidad y de retorno a la madre, la concepción de un nino, que en el plano imaginario es el hijo del analista, constituye un "paso al acto" con el cual la mujer se afirma en su naturaleza femenina. El nino fantàstico es el pene robado al padre de la analizante, la cual se representa viril mientras su marido aparece materno y femenino.
Dichos fenómenos desembocan en una resistencia masiva al anàlisis y en el intento de interrumpirlo para conservar en la realidad la relación con el analista, haciende de él un padre espiritual. Sin embargo el nino, fruto del transfert y no de un incesto moral, podrà quedar libre de cualquier alienación transferencial siempre que el analista sepa demostrar que su deseo no era deseo de un nino.
